Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN), Step Down Unit. The position provides collaborative care planning for individual patients and implements nursing standards throughout the care process. The role supports patients in a step-down setting during night shifts.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license; active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; active American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; at least 3 years of current Medical-Surgical experience; at least 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or step-down experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience; charge experience; electronic medical record (EMR) experience.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holidays as needed.
- Additional Information: Patient assignments include a maximum ratio of 6:1, with support from two Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs), a nurse lead, and a house supervisor. The position involves collaborative care planning and implementation of nursing standards in patient care.
