The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes on a 13-week assignment.
Job Details
- Position Description: The role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating care across departments, safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality, and aligning practices with the organizations mission, values, and standards.
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license; BLS and ACLS certifications; at least 1 year of recent experience in a step-down unit; must meet licensure criteria for the state of Missouri or currently hold licensure in Missouri; location in Missouri is required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro medical surgical patient care; team-oriented, versatile, flexible, excellent communication skills, able to get along well with others.
- Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process, maintains patient confidentiality, and performs duties consistent with the organizations standards. Flu vaccination is required for travel between November 1 and April 1.
- Unit Information: The unit has a 251-bed capacity, primarily caring for neuro med-surgical patients, utilizing EPIC electronic medical records, and requires a team player with excellent communication skills.
