Job Summary
Step Down Unit Nurse Nights Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized care to patients in a step down unit, with a focus on cardiac and respiratory conditions. The role requires flexibility to meet staffing needs and participation in weekend and holiday shifts.
Job Details
- Position Description: Stepdown - 12-Hour Nights, 7 p.m. 7 a.m. (unit cannot accommodate a block schedule, must be flexible). No time off approved from 9/19-10/17 due to Epic Go Live. Weekend and holidays required.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of clinical experience in a related setting, valid TN license or compact license on file at submission, BLS and ACLS certifications, Cerner electronic medical record experience strongly preferred, prior travel experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac and respiratory patient populations, ability to float to Med/Surg and ER units as needed.
- Additional Information: Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience and be able to work flexible shifts.
