Description

American Traveler is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring an active OH or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent stepdown experience.

Details

• Work in the Stepdown unit of a hospital setting
• Potential to float to additional units (J1-2, J33) and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shift schedule (3x12 hours), days 7:00am-7:30pm and nights 7:00pm-7:30am
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet hospital operational needs

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in the stepdown specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide stepdown-level nursing care within a large academic hospital system
• Required to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may only be considered for one position at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
• All requested RTO must be discussed and finalized prior to consideration
• Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility testing requirements
