Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown position requiring an active Ohio or compact license and prior specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the HVTI-Stepdown unit at a hospital main campus
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• 3x12-hour rotating day/night shifts (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30)
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the facility
• Assignment length of 18 weeks with potential for 13-week option

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty required
• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred but not required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applied specialty required, from an assignment within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required, medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a stepdown/telemetry unit setting
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a passing score required
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
