**HVTI Stepdown Float Pool RN** **Facility:** Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital **Shift:** Days 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / Nights 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM **Schedule:** 3x12 **Contract:** 91 weeks **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified ### Required * Minimum **1 year of permanent experience** in the specialty applying for * **Permanent Ohio RN license or compact license in hand** at submission * **AHA or American Red Cross BLS** * **ACLS** * **NIHSS** * **1 professional reference** from a Manager, ANM, Supervisor, or Director in the specialty * Must be from an assignment worked within the **past 12 months** * Coworker references are not accepted * Required certifications must be **active and in hand at submission** * Must be willing to **float to applicable units/locations** as needed * Must work **at least every other holiday** * Must pass the **ECG rhythm recognition test** and **SafeMedicate assessment** during orientation ### Unit / Patient Population * HVTI Stepdown Float Pool * Potential to float to **J1-2, J33, and ED** * Will care for the **same patient population** across assigned areas * D/N rotating shifts may be required based on hospital operational needs * Facility will try to honor preferred shift but may rotate travelers if needed ### Submission Requirements * Standard **Qualivis Cover Sheet** * All RTO must be discussed during interview and included at submission * Traveler may only be submitted to **one Cleveland Clinic Health System job at a time** * Locals accepted at the same bill rate * PBDS assessment waived ### Additional Facility Requirements * ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate: maximum **2 attempts** to pass * Facility does not accept **license hits** * Open background cases are not accepted * BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within **48 hours of signing** * Nurses are exempt from the nicotine-free requirement * Permanent/per diem Cleveland Clinic candidates must be separated for **1 year** before returning * Travelers may extend up to **18 months**, followed by a 6-month break unless the client defers the break * Pre-start modules average **6–15 hours**; up to 4 hours are billable ### Vaccination * **COVID vaccine required** — medical/religious exemptions accepted * **Flu vaccine required** — medical/religious exemptions accepted
