Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Cleveland, OH. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Step Down settings. You will be part of a dynamic team, providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

The facility may require you to float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population. While the hospital will do its best to honor your preferred shift, please note that shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Step Down unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Must have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio license or a Compact State license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certification required.
• Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required on both.
