• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130-$2,250

• Floating: Required as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• At least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Strong skills in telemetry interpretation and inpatient nursing care
• Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, holidays, and floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult orthopedic trauma and telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry, identify rhythm changes, and respond appropriately to cardiac concerns
• Manage common med/surg telemetry interventions, including heparin and insulin drips
• Support patients with PCA therapy, epidurals, peripheral nerve catheters, and wound care needs
• Care for patients with neurosurgery overflow and complex post-operative needs
• Collaborate with IV therapy, respiratory services, physical therapy, phlebotomy, and rapid response teams
• Administer medications and treatments safely while maintaining accurate documentation in Epic
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and recovery throughout the shift
