Description

American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown/PCU RN for a night shift hospital position requiring at least one year of Stepdown/PCU experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Stepdown/PCU unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state RN license in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 12 months permanent Stepdown/PCU experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Stepdown/PCU patients on a med-surg telemetry level of care
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free policy
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may extend with the client for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required
