Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down/Telemetry position requiring at least 3 years of recent stepdown experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Step Down/CPU unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Requires telemetry monitoring and IV start skills

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 3+ years of recent Stepdown experience required
• Intermediate to advanced fetal monitoring (FM) skills required
• Telemetry and IV start experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

• Holiday coverage required as assigned
• Minimal to no RTO accommodated during the assignment
• Royal blue scrubs required and not provided
• Accepts local candidates living within 31-50 miles of the facility at local rate
• Candidates residing less than 30 miles from the facility are not accepted
• Must reside within a defined radius to qualify for travel or local pay determination
