Description

American Traveler is hiring a Step Down RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of Step Down experience and strong cardiac proficiency.

Details

  • Step Down unit with 36 private treatment rooms
  • Night shift, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, with every other weekend required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Floating required

Requirements

  • Active MI RN license required at time of submission
  • Compact license not accepted
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of Step Down experience required
  • Strong cardiac experience and proficiency required
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Deliver nursing care within unit scope of practice following hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards of care
  • Supported by Clinical Nurse Specialists offering advanced nursing expertise
  • Formal orientation program tailored to individual needs
  • Ongoing staff development through programs in wound care and pain management
  • Navy blue scrub dress code
  • Candidates within a 35 mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with reduced travel rate
  • No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
