Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/PCU (CPU) setting with intermediate to advanced monitoring
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation as part of routine patient assessment
• Perform IV starts and manage IV therapy as required by patient care needs
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to unit protocols, dress code (Royal Blue scrubs required, not provided), and facility compliance requirements including up to 8 hours of pre-start non-billable modules completed via HealthStream

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (if license is pending, proof that the process is underway is required for consideration)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 3+ years of recent Stepdown/PCU experience
• Proficiency in telemetry and IV starts
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO); any RTO must be disclosed at time of submission — especially around holidays
• Candidates residing within 31–50 miles of the facility may be accepted at a local rate; candidates residing less than 30 miles from the facility are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
