Description

American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown RN for a night shift Med/Surg/Tele unit position requiring at least 1 year of experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg/Tele Stepdown unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient ratio of 5 to 1
• Uses Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of recent Stepdown experience required
• Completion of Advanced Learning Center modules required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Royal blue scrub top required, with white, royal blue, or black t-shirt worn underneath
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
