Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a stepdown unit position. This is a night shift role, where you will be providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver nursing care as per established protocols and best practices.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
  • Travel experience is preferred.

Patient Care

The nurse will maintain a patient ratio of 5 to 1, ensuring adequate attention to each patient.

Uniform Details

Scrubs should be royal blue, with the option of wearing a white, royal blue, or black t-shirt under the scrub top.
