American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Amarillo, Texas.
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Amarillo, Texas
Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), with 36 or 48-hour weekly options available. Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on daily assignments. 24-bed unit with daily census of 12-14 patients.
This travel nursing opportunity offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric populations in a supportive environment with robust interdisciplinary resources. You'll gain valuable experience in a mixed acuity setting while enjoying the flexibility of day shift scheduling.
