    Job Summary

    We are hiring a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time role serving schools in McAlester, Ada, Prague, and Atoka, OK. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to assist students with speech, language, voice, and fluency needs. Responsibilities include implementing therapy plans, documenting student progress, supporting classroom-based services, and assisting with communication devices and augmentative alternative communication (AAC) systems.


    Responsibilities

    • Implement therapy activities and interventions as directed by the supervising SLP.
    • Provide direct support to students in individual and group sessions within the school setting.
    • Assist with classroom-based service delivery and consult with teachers and staff.
    • Monitor and maintain communication devices and AAC systems.
    • Collect data and document student progress according to individualized education program (IEP) goals and school protocols.
    • Participate in team meetings and support transitions for students across school environments.
    • Follow confidentiality, safety, and professional practice standards.


    Minimum Requirements

    • Successful completion of required SLPA coursework or program according to state regulations.
    • Current SLPA certification or licensure as required by Oklahoma state and school district policies.
    • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
    • Ability to implement therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
    • Experience with AAC devices and classroom-based service delivery preferred.
    • Clear background check and ability to meet school district employment requirements.
