Key Responsibilities
Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Provide speech and language pathology services to inpatient populations in a regional medical facility.
Document patient care and progress accurately using the EPIC electronic medical records system.
Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Participate in holiday coverage, including working 1–2 of 3 designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
Required Qualifications
Active Iowa state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (required).
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required).
Current CPR certification (required).
Mandatory reporter certification (required).
Proficiency with EPIC EMR (required).
Valid driver's license; candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (required).
Preferred Experience / Skills
At least one prior travel contract completed.
Experience in an inpatient or acute care setting.
