Key Responsibilities

• Conduct skilled home health visits across Manatee County and South Hillsborough territories, with an expected caseload of 6–8 visits per day
• Provide dysphagia management, aural rehabilitation, and functional maintenance programming for an acute/chronic adolescent through geriatric patient population
• Perform evaluations using standardized tools including BIMS, Depression Screening, and Oral Peripheral Exam
• Deliver patient and family education and conduct in-service training as needed
• Complete accurate and timely billing and documentation using designated electronic systems
• Participate in 1–2 weekend shifts per contract period as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required at time of submission
• Active Florida or Compact state license required at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required; home health experience required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required to perform home visits
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or have an exemption form on file; flu shot or declination required (mandatory mask wearing applies in either case)
• Locals are welcome — candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility may be eligible at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• OASIS training or experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred
• Familiarity with skilled home care billing under Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and commercial insurance
