    Key Responsibilities
    • Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient needs and physician direction
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge, including equipment trialing and ordering, patient and family training, home exercise program issuance, and coordination of continuing services
    • Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions with flexibility across caseload, ensuring the plan of care is communicated and progressed throughout the length of stay
    • Complete medical record documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including daily notes, goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, discharge documentation, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
    • Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all applicable regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
    • Participate in student programs as assigned, providing appropriate supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the state of Tennessee (or eligibility)
    • Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on patient progression toward discharge
    • Ability to complete thorough medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
    • Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling and infection control practices
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in an inpatient or acute rehabilitation setting
    • Familiarity with functional quality indicator assessments and letters of medical necessity
    • Prior experience supervising or mentoring students in a clinical setting
