Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
- Maintain valid state licensure and adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including wearing a photo ID badge at all times
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Massachusetts
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility
- Must present a valid state or federally issued photo identification upon arrival at the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
