Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one speech language pathology services to pediatric patients
- Evaluate and treat patients across a range of communication, language, and swallowing disorders
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Complete required orientation modules (non-billable, approximately 4 hours) prior to or during orientation
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities nearby as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist state license (required at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates; candidates within 50 miles will be considered local and local rates will apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with pediatric patient populations
- Familiarity with hospital-based or acute care therapy settings
- Experience floating between departments or affiliate facilities
