Key Responsibilities
Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders; develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards.
Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions; assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record.
Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness and modify services or make referrals based on results.
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
Document all required information in the electronic documentation system, accurately recording treatment minutes per regulatory and clinical requirements.

Required Qualifications
Active Missouri State SLP License required.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
Minimum of 1 year of SLP experience required; new graduates considered with completed Level II clinical experience.
Long Term Care (LTC) or rehabilitation setting experience required.
Adherence to ASHA and state-required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards.
Preferred Experience / Skills
3 or more years of experience holding an active CCC-SLP certification preferred.
Experience supervising Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinicians or student Speech-Language Pathologists.
