    Job Title

    Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient / Outpatient

    Location

    Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform patient evaluations and administer treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings
    • Conduct bedside swallow studies, provide diet recommendations, and perform monitoring for inpatient services
    • Conduct outpatient Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS) and provide speech therapy evaluation and intervention for the adult population
    • Design, implement, and revise individualized plans of care and treatment goals
    • Complete clinical documentation in accordance with unit standards and regulatory requirements using the facility EMR system
    • Participate in case conferences, in-service education programs, patient care committees, and staff meetings
    Required Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Active Michigan SLP License
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Minimum of 2 years of SLP experience; new graduates will not be considered
    • Demonstrated experience with VFSS and ability to work independently in both inpatient and outpatient units
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with McKesson EMR
    • Background working with pediatric populations in a clinical SLP setting
    • Familiarity with dysphagia management and swallowing disorder treatment protocols
