Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and caregiving staff as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Montana (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility for certification
- Experience working in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or veterans care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with veteran populations
- Familiarity with PACS (Point Click Care or similar long-term care documentation systems)
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment protocols
