Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services within an acute care setting
- Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress using EPIC
- Float to additional campus locations as needed based on patient care demands
Required Qualifications
- Active California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — must be American Heart Association (AHA)
- Proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
- Minimum 1.5 years of continuous experience in speech-language pathology specialty
- EPIC EMR experience within the last 6 months of work history
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
- Combined EPIC and Cerner EMR experience
- Travel healthcare experience with at least 1 year total and 6+ months of continuous travel leading up to submission
