Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings
Monitor and document patient progress toward established therapy goals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques and home programs
Required Qualifications
Master's degree or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel or contract therapy experience
Familiarity with MDS documentation and skilled nursing facility workflows
