Key Responsibilities
Assess, treat, and monitor patients in the areas of speech, language, swallowing, and cognition
Plan and develop new programs to support patient care needs
Provide services across inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings
Manage a patient population ranging from pediatric to elderly adult
Competently perform Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS/MBSS)
Required Qualifications
Active licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Nebraska
Demonstrated competency in Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) / Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies
Experience working across multiple care settings including inpatient, outpatient, and SNF
Reliable personal transportation (ride-share services are not available in this area)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a rural healthcare environment
Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting
