Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Location: Ennis TX 75119 Pay: $50-55 an hour Case Load: TBD Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 10/14/2026
Responsibilities:
Evaluation & Assessment: Conduct initial patient histories, diagnostic tests, and standardized evaluations to determine speech, language, or swallowing difficulty.
Treatment Planning: Create, implement, and document individualized functional care plans and goals submitted for physician or team approval.
Direct Therapy: Guide patients through vocal exercises, articulation drills, and muscle strengthening routines for swallowing (dysphagia).
Education & Counseling: Train family members and caregivers on home carryover programs and counsel patients on coping strategies.
Collaboration: Coordinate closely with physicians, teachers, occupational therapists, audiologists, and social workers.
