AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Santa Clara, New Mexico, 88026!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will provide comprehensive speech and language services to patients, evaluating and treating communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of professional SLP experience and previous PCC experience. Candidates should be patient-focused, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality, individualized care.

  • Hours:8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders as appropriate
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve communication, swallowing function, and overall independence
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, compensatory techniques, and home programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
  • Utilize PCC effectively for clinical documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered treatment environment
  • Provide compassionate care while working toward individualized patient goals
Requirements
  • Required: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Required: Active SLP license in the state of practice or ability to obtain
  • Required:Minimum 1 year of professional SLP experience
  • Required:Previous PCC experience
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), where applicable
  • Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Important Start Requirement
  • Candidates must arrive in New Mexico at least 48 hours prior to the assignment start date to complete required fingerprinting.
  • Applicants should plan their travel accordingly to ensure all required pre-employment requirements are completed before their start date.
