We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join a healthcare facility in Tuba City, AZ and provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic disorders. Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate patients for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using standardized and non-standardized assessment tools
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals
• Provide therapeutic intervention for dysphagia, including bedside swallowing evaluations and modified diet recommendations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Document evaluation findings, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and changing clinical needs
✅ Requirements
• Active AZ SLP license
• BLS/BCLS, ASHA CCC-SLP certifications
• 3+ years of Speech-Language Pathologist experience
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA
• Strong knowledge of dysphagia management, AAC, and cognitive-linguistic rehabilitation
Pay
Pay range: $2,484 to $2,617 per week.
Travel Speech-Language Pathology SLP package: up to $2,617/week (36 hours) = $33/hour taxable + up to $1,429/week in travel reimbursements if eligible under IRS tax-home and expense rules.
Local package: $69/hour fully taxable ($2,484/week for 36 hours).
Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour laws and the assignment agreement. Actual compensation varies based on hours worked, assignment terms and travel reimbursement eligibility.
