Description:
This position involves working in a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation setting.
The facility is focused on helping individuals regain their independence after an injury or illness.
Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey.
Customized and individualized rehabilitation is tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from various conditions including stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
The role aims to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
Candidates should have experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehabilitation settings.
The patient population includes individuals experiencing common diagnoses such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and debility.
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential, and a cooperative personality that supports being a team player is necessary.
Required education includes a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
