We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment at a healthcare facility. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical needs and outcomes
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, compensatory techniques, and home programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, OTs, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate
- Provide recommendations for continued therapy or follow-up services when needed
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional therapy environment
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving communication, swallowing function, independence, and quality of life
Requirements- Required: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Required: Active SLP license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Previous clinical experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), where applicable
- Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, and patient populations
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
