AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Carthage, North Carolina, 28327!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment at a healthcare facility. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical needs and outcomes
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, compensatory techniques, and home programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, OTs, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate
  • Provide recommendations for continued therapy or follow-up services when needed
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional therapy environment
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving communication, swallowing function, independence, and quality of life
Requirements
  • Required: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Required: Active SLP license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
  • Preferred: Previous clinical experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), where applicable
  • Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, and patient populations
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
