Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - $2,200 per week in Northridge, CA

In the outpatient setting, the therapist may treat up to 9 patients per day. In the inpatient setting, the caseload may include up to 13 patients per day. Experience in rehabilitative care, especially with trauma and neuro patients, is preferred. Candidates must have solid experience managing cognitive impairments and swallowing difficulties. The position may require covering various areas, with the possibility of floating to other departments. Weekends may be required, and holiday shifts are not mandatory. It is important to wear designated uniform attire, including a maroon polo shirt and dark pants. The therapist will work within a team that includes Rehabilitation Aides and other therapists. Experience with electronic medical records systems, particularly Cerner, is beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team are essential.
