Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Department Information:
o 6 visits a day
o They are required 30 VE a week
o There is not a max mileage to drive. The average is approximately 60-80 miles a day. Mileage is reimbursed weekly.
o Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year Home Health
o Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, if seasoned to home health
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
o Teammates will travel throughout the below areas:
Albemarle, Badin, Harrisburg, Mt Gilead, Norwood, Troy and cities in between
o Cognitive, trach, difficulty swallowing, stroke, aphasia
o All adults
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
o Driver's License and proof of Insurance required
Skills required:
o HCHB experience, self-motivation and able to work independently, great time management, able to communicate with a multi-disciplinary team.

o Peers/Clinical Team
Technology/Equipment:
o EPIC Rover view only
o Mosia- will upload discharge instructions and other important docs such as wound pictures

o 5 days orientation

Do they schedule their own appointments with this position? - They will schedule the visit with the patients the day prior to the visit planned.
