SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License in good standing
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Current CPR certification preferred
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, or acute care settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech-language therapy services based on patient needs
  • Assess and treat dysphagia and swallowing impairments
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Promote patient safety, independence, and quality of life
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Guaranteed 35 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $46.80 - $54.60 per hour
