SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $46.80 - $54.60 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License in good standing
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide speech-language therapy services based on patient needs
- Assess and treat dysphagia and swallowing impairments
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and home programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Promote patient safety, independence, and quality of life

- Guaranteed 35 hours per week
- Competitive pay rate of $46.80 - $54.60 per hour
