SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $48.00 - $56.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License in good standing
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, acute care, outpatient, or home health settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and home programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress notes
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient progress meetings
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
- Promote patient safety, independence, and quality of life
