SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while helping patients achieve their highest level of functional independence and quality of life.

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate: $48.00 - $56.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License in good standing
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
  • Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, acute care, outpatient, or home health settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and home programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress notes
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and patient progress meetings
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
  • Promote patient safety, independence, and quality of life

  • Guaranteed 35 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $48.00 - $56.00 per hour
