Job Details
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient)
- Location: Sacramento County, including potential coverage in Yolo County and Amador County
- Certifications: BLS, CA SLP License, Valid Driver's License, and Auto Insurance
- Education: Current CA SLP License compliant with state requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience providing assessment, treatment, and evaluation for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders; minimum of 1 year required
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Additional Information: Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Gains confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and collaborating healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Assists with clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serves as clinical instructor for assigned students.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Home Health Care preferred but not required
- Submittal Requirements: Must upload current Nursys verification of CA State License within the last 2 weeks and applicable certifications with valid expiration dates. Two references obtained within the last year are required.
- Notes: Local candidates accepted at local rate; 50-mile radius rule applies. Candidates must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and provide a 7-year work history verification. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date.
