Job Details:
- Location: Minneapolis, MN, 730 S 8th Street
- Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Minnesota Department of Health Licensure for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC); licensure must be active in Minnesota.
- Preferred Qualifications: MBS-ImP Certification or equivalent; one year of experience performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) independently.
- Experience: Basic competency in videofluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS/MBSS), with demonstrated ability to independently perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies; minimum three months of experience evaluating and treating patients with traumatic brain injury and stroke, addressing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in an acute rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
- Additional Information: This outpatient SLP role involves performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies and evaluating/treating a neurologic caseload. Productivity expectations range from 22-24 treatment units per day, averaging approximately six hours of direct patient care daily. The position supports a collaborative team of experienced Speech-Language Pathologists serving a diverse patient population.
