We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing services to patients. The SLP will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions to improve communication, functional abilities, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies, home programs, and communication techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Provide patient-centered care while maintaining a safe and supportive treatment environment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current SLP license in the applicable state.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred/required based on facility requirements.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication, clinical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
