We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment at a healthcare facility. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
  • Provide therapeutic interventions based on individual patient needs and rehabilitation goals
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
  • Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, compensatory techniques, and home exercise programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving communication, swallowing function, independence, and quality of life

Requirements

  • Required: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Required: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
  • Preferred: Previous clinical experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), where applicable
  • Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, teams, and patient populations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
