Job Summary:
Massachusetts-based healthcare organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role involves providing rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist Assistant license, 1+ years of PTA experience including Long-term Care or Rehabilitation experience, Skills checklist within 1 year, 0-1 references at time of submission
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience supervising and supporting students under a Physical Therapists guidance, familiarity with electronic documentation systems, adherence to APTA and State practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics
• Additional Information: The PTA will utilize evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions, assess patient progress, communicate effectively with the healthcare team, and document all required clinical information. Participation in meetings, trainings, and adherence to facility policies are essential components of the role. The candidate must be able to assist in obtaining DME or supplies as needed and support the supervision of students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
