Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) role in a skilled nursing facility setting located in Texas. This position involves supporting clinical interventions through evidence-based practice, delivering rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments to patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The OTA will collaborate with the healthcare team to monitor patient progress, document treatment activities, and contribute to patient discharge planning.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid State Licensure/Registration, at least 1 year of Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) experience, LTC or rehab experience, COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license.

  • Additional Information: The OTA will administer therapeutic procedures including activities of daily living retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive device use.
