Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting during night shift hours
• May care for patients with infectious conditions, including COVID-positive patients
• May float to other ICU floors as needed
• Complete required pre-start orientation modules prior to first day (approximately 5–6 hours)
• Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations, including working 2 of 3 major holiday periods (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license — no license encumbrances accepted
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Must pass EKG exam within 72 hours of contract signing
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates; local candidates within 50 miles are welcome to apply but will be considered under a separate rate structure
• Facility is tobacco-free and fragrance-free — compliance with this policy is required
• Requested time off is expected to be limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong EPIC charting proficiency is heavily preferred
• Experience floating across multiple ICU environments
• Familiarity with high-acuity surgical intensive care patient populations
