Position Overview
We are looking for dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our virtual team as Travel Services Consultants. In this role, you will assist clients with navigating vacation choices, coordinating requested services, and keeping their arrangements organized from the initial inquiry through final preparation.
You may work with resort vacations, cruises, family getaways, couples trips, group experiences, tours, activities, transportation, and international destinations.
Previous travel industry experience is not required. Training and ongoing learning resources are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather information about client preferences, dates, budgets, and vacation needs
- Research available destinations and vacation services
- Compare resorts, hotels, cruises, transportation, tours, excursions, and packages
- Present suitable options based on individual client requests
- Provide information about available amenities, services, and supplier offers
- Coordinate selected arrangements using approved booking resources
- Review reservation details and traveler information for accuracy
- Keep confirmations and important trip information organized
- Track payment dates, documentation requirements, and other deadlines
- Provide clients with updates throughout the planning process
- Respond to routine questions and assist with requested changes
- Maintain accurate client and reservation records
- Continue developing knowledge of destinations, suppliers, and vacation products
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Organized with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable researching and comparing information online
- Able to manage multiple client requests and follow-ups
- Dependable and capable of working independently
- Basic computer, email, and internet proficiency
- Comfortable learning supplier platforms and reservation systems
- Reliable internet access and compatible device
- Self-motivated and willing to continue learning
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must reside in the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Australia, Mexico, or another qualifying region
