The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and crisis management skills with a proactive, collaborative approach to supporting employees in a complex international environment.

    Role Purpose

By delivering timely risk intelligence, maintaining travel security standards, and supporting Duty of Care obligations, this role helps protect employees, reduce organizational risk, and ensure business continuity worldwide.

    What You'll Do

    • Monitor Global Travel Risk: Continuously assess country and city risk ratings, monitor traveler locations and itineraries, and track geopolitical, security, crime, health, and weather developments that may impact employees worldwide.

    • Provide Traveler & Stakeholder Support: Act as a trusted advisor to employees, managers, and travel planners by responding to security inquiries, communicating emerging risks, and providing actionable safety guidance.
    • Conduct Incident Reviews & Intelligence Gathering: Lead post-trip debriefs and incident reviews for travelers returning from high-risk locations to gather insights, identify lessons learned, and enhance future risk assessments.
    • Maintain Travel Security Programs: Review, update, and enforce travel security policies, standard operating procedures, risk ratings, and automated traveler communications to support CBRE's Duty of Care obligations.
    • Manage Security Partners & Reporting: Partner with external security providers, travel risk vendors, and insurance stakeholders to ensure service effectiveness, maintain vendor relationships, and deliver travel-related reporting and analytics.
    • Drive Risk Mitigation Initiatives: Conduct ongoing risk assessments, recommend mitigation strategies, perform security reviews, and support the development of programs that strengthen traveler safety and organizational resilience.

    What You'll Need

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Security Management, Crisis Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in corporate security, travel risk management, crisis management, geopolitical intelligence, or a related field, including at least 3 years supporting global travel security programs within a multinational organization.
    • Certifications: CPP, CRM, or other relevant security/risk management certifications preferred.
    • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business tools used for reporting, analytics, presentations, and program management.
    • Risk Management & Crisis Response: Proven ability to assess and mitigate security risks, manage critical incidents, coordinate emergency communications, and support evacuations or other crisis response activities.
    • Security Technology & Intelligence: Experience utilizing travel risk management platforms, mass notification systems, OSINT resources, and threat intelligence tools such as International SOS, Crisis24, or similar solutions.
    • Training & Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication skills with experience delivering traveler safety training, security awareness programs, and executive-level guidance during both routine operations and emergencies.
    • Leadership & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, manage multiple priorities, conduct investigations, and make sound decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
