• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Unit Highlights: 37-bed intermediate care unit with telemetry-focused patient care
• Equipment/Technology: PCA pumps, IV pumps, chest tubes, and Meditech EMR

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of hospital telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and intermediate care patient populations preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• NIH certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry and intermediate care patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage drips, and support central line care
• Care for patients recovering from heart catheterization procedures and bubble studies
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and fellow nurses to promote safe patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with a positive and engaged attitude
