Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Rehab RN for a night shift inpatient rehabilitation hospital position requiring at least 2 years of rehab nursing experience.

Details

  • Work in a 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital with all private rooms
  • Care for patients recovering from brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, and complex orthopedic conditions
  • Facility includes a secured brain injury unit, low-stimulation therapy gym, transitional living apartment, and specialty dialysis rooms
  • 13-week night shift assignment, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend required

Requirements

  • Active MO or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
  • AHA certifications required
  • Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
  • Copies of required certifications must be provided

Additional Information

  • Provide skilled nursing care within specialty programs for neuro, stroke, brain injury, and amputation patients
  • Flu vaccination required, or an approved medical/religious exemption with facility-specific exemption form and email confirmation
  • Masking required during flu season (November 1 through March 31) for those with approved exemptions
  • Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
  • Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced local rate
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
