Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility position requiring AR or compact licensure and BLS certification.

Details

  • Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting caring for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and neurological conditions
  • Geriatric and adult patient population
  • 36-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:7, up to 1:8
  • Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Uses Wellsky EHR

Requirements

  • Active RN license (AR or compact) currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required

Additional Information

  • Work within an advanced rehabilitation facility featuring specialized therapy spaces, water therapy equipment, and real-life simulation areas for patient recovery
  • Black scrubs required
  • Report at 1830 and ask for the Charge Nurse upon arrival
  • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
  • Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
