Details

Work on a 3-pod oncology unit with 10-bed pods
1:3 to 1:4 patient-to-nurse staffing ratio
Care for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and various solid tumor diagnoses
Includes cellular product administration and clinical trial patient care
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
May float to other oncology units
13-week assignment length
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

Active MA RN license required, no pending or conditional licenses accepted
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Experience with oncology patients including mixed solid tumor, hematologic malignancy, BMT, and cellular therapies required
Experience with telemetry monitoring, PCA pumps, blood warmers, bladder scanners, and Baxter pumps required
Primary source verification of license and certifications required within 30 days of start date

Additional Information

Provide direct oncology nursing care including cellular product administration and clinical trial support
Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Local candidates permitted, but those residing within 60 miles of Boston will receive a reduced rate
Public parking only available near Boston locations, with daily rates ranging from $17 to $22
