Key Responsibilities

• Provide couplet care for postpartum patients and newborns in an 8-bed Mother Baby unit with a 1:3 couplet ratio
• Attend deliveries, including the ability to receive and recover newborns at delivery
• Care for post-cesarean section patients throughout the recovery process
• Manage patients presenting with antepartum and postpartum complications, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean deliveries
• Document patient care accurately using the Paragon electronic health record system
• Maintain NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications as required throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Mother Baby or OB/GYN nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with preoperative preparation and PACU recovery for cesarean section patients
• Familiarity with the Paragon EHR system
• Team-oriented and flexible approach to patient care in a small community hospital setting
